Although if you don't play very often, it will be a LONG LONG time before you'll unlock FOB. That's been what my experience has been, although I have put in a lot of hours in a short period of time, so it could be different. Someone will steal your nuke and you'll be left with all the negative side effects of having built said nuke. Then you become a target for everyone and level doesn't matter. Other than the first few days of having no security at all, which made for easy pickens, once I figured it out and beefed up security, the attacks stopped entirely until I built a nuke a couple days ago. I've found at low levels if you have beefed up security, nobody bothers at all. So I'll get matched up with other people who are C. You're typically matched up with others of the same PF ranking, which similar to your staff, the ranking starts off at E, but has more steps up than Staff rankings. It was one or two this day, one or two a few days later, etc. I got raided a few times when I first unlocked FOB, but nothing too terribly drastic that it was hundereds of people daily. I mean it could happen, but it's not likely. My online funds always stays in the double digit millions. Don't look at the overall numbers, look purely at the offline funds and don't let that go into the negative figures. Just don't let your offline GMP go in the red and you'll be fine. Once you do unlock FOB, you will want to beef up your security because online attacks very well can affect offline inventory when you get attacked.ĮDIT: Another additional note to what Delta said. Weapons development is expensive and those funds would surely help. Although I'm not sure I agree with MGSFC R1SK in that it's not needed. It encorporates a different form of online play against other PFs. In short though, Single player is not purely single player. I don't know what a FOB is but I dont use the MGO maybe thats why.
